Thanks to the self-supporting construction based on rigid profiles, these panels form an "armoured" barrier that effectively cuts off the direct acoustic wave.

At 50 mm thickness it provides acoustic insulation of around 13 dB, which is enough to turn the oppressive roar of machinery into a bearable background hum.
